浅谈智能铁路运输系统的发展

摘要。介绍了智能运输的概念发展背景，以及发展智能运输系统的必要性，总结了智能交通系统（its）的发展状况和智能铁路系统的国内外研究情况，提出了中国智能铁路系统（cirs）的基本组成和总体结构。在此基础上，分析了中国智能铁路系统（cirs）的基本特征和所具有的优势，指出了中国智能铁路系统（cirs）的若干关键技术，提出发展智能运输系统的设想和建议。

1.智能铁路运输系统的发展背景

随着社会经济的发展和人们生活水平的提高，整个社会对交通运输的需求日益增加，交通污染与交通事故越来越引起社会的普遍关注。交通量的持续增长是造成这种状况的最根本原因，而传统的解决途径主要有两个：一是加大交通基础设施建设的投入，但资金、土地等稀缺资源是有限的，道路基础设施不可能无限扩展;另一个就是限制交通流量，主要是通过法律和行政手段实现，这些方法短期可以奏效，但有失公平、合理。人们希望通过增加技术含量的方法提高现有道路的利用率，提高道路交通的安全程度和道路使用的舒适性，智能运输系统因此应运而生。
